Anais teaches a range of yoga styles based on the connection of breath, movement and stillness of the mind.
After returning from her teacher training in Mysore, India in 2014, Anais started teaching a Dynamic Hatha style. She trained as a professional rhythmic gymnast in Venezuela from age 6 to 14 and has stayed close to fitness since then. In the past couple of years, she has been exposed to slower paced classes and mindful movement, which turned her typical class into more of a Yin&Yang yoga practice.
Since coming back from her 10 day silent meditation retreat with Vipassana in 2016 Anais's interest towards meditation can be felt throughout her classes, defining the flow on the mat as a moving meditation.
Her classes aim to include everyone, and are taught mainly at Retreat Yoga Studio, a space she founded in March 2018, located in the heart of New Cross, South East London. The studio also offers donation based Community Classes every Friday at 1:15pm.
